“P” is for Pretty Pink Princess

For all my years I have taken for granted that baby girls and the color pink go together better than peas and carrots.  But just today I wondered why we associate the color pink with baby girls.  Why not orange, red, or even green? It appears we love to dress baby girls up in pink due to our biology and not for any cultural reason.  Read “Why do girls wear pink and boys where blue?” to find out more.

A baby blanket is one of the most traditional baby gifts given at baby showers or to new babies.  They are a baby essential parents simply cannot do without.  Having her name embroidered or stitched into the fabric transforms it into an extraordinary gift, and quite possibly, may be the reason her personalized pink blanket will become a best friend.

Personalized Pink Blankets for Baby Girls

As you can see, all of these featured blankets can be personalized with her name or initials.  However, there are several where you can add her birth date.  Adding the date is an extra special touch parents are sure to appreciate.  Many of these featured merchants offer free personalization, or if they do charge, the cost is minimal.

Babies are very soft, and too should be the fabric that will touch their skin on a daily basis.  Merchants have created blankets with blended fabric like fleece and cotton so your little princess will be very comfortable.  Since your blanket has a good chance of becoming her favorite “blankey”, merchants also make sure their blanket are durable.  In other words, they will hold up to teething, drooling, pulling, tugging, and the occasional (p)”oops”.

If your bank account can afford it, buying two matching personalized pink blankets will be a godsend to parents.  When laundry day rolls around, one can be easily switched out for the other.  This is a sure way to prevent unnecessary crying.

While not all of them can be personalized, see more pink baby blankets.

Happy Shopping!
