Baby’s 1st Christmas Ornament | Personalized Idea

Another stand out gift on Etsy!   I had to look at BeedsInTheBelfry handmade 1st Christmas ornament to decide whether or not I liked it.  And I think the reason I had to pause is because I have never seen a Christmas ornament quite like it! It is truly unique.

To be honest, I think a keepsake means one-of-a-kind.  While I love our selection of personalized baby keepsakes, thousands are sold.  They are indeed great gifts, but are they unique? Many believe its personalization that makes a gift a keepsake, but I think it is the often overlooked qualities that do so.

Every ornament will be its own piece of artwork, have its own unique characteristics, because each one was made by human hands! I know that is how  I would want to celebrate a new baby’s arrival during the upcoming Holiday Season.

But uncommon goods also has I gift I am not sure about.  It sort of creeps by out! Like Bob Dylan singing Christmas songs, some things just do not go together.

And one is pit hair and babies! One thing I love about babies is that, except when there is a chocolate rose in the diaper (some have made it a baby shower game), they are clean, soft, smooth, and without the hair that eventually grows, as they age, from their ears, armpits, legs, and other places.  You know the ones you remove on sometimes a daily bases in awkward places!

So when I saw the Hippie In Training Onesies, I had a good laugh, but I sort of was grossed out too.   Underarm Hair! A great gag gift, but just not sure about seeing underarm hair on a baby even if its only printed on a onesies.  Maybe someone should design a onesie with a dirty diaper printed on it?
